VILA VITA Marburg GmbH is a diverse world of indulgence in the university town of Marburg, offering 15 independent hotel and restaurant concepts. VILA VITA Marburg GmbH includes the Hotel VILA VITA Rosenpark with a bar and wellness area, six restaurants with different dining concepts, and the adjacent congress center. An ice cream factory with a bistro, a delicatessen, and the idyllically located Hofgut Dagobertshausen complete the VILA VITA group. VILA VITA Marburg GmbH employs more than 500 people in total.
Your Tasks
- Performing accounting tasks during the night shift, including checking receipts, credit card transactions, and guest bills
- Verifying the accuracy of daily closings and preparing reports for management
- Handling guest inquiries and complaints during the night
- Ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests
- Monitoring the safety of the hotel and guests during the night shift
- Conducting regular tours of the hotel to identify potential security or maintenance issues
- Assisting other departments as needed, including housekeeping and guest services
Our Requirements
- Completed training in the hotel industry
- Experience in the hotel industry, ideally in a similar position as a night auditor
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications, other hotel-specific accounting programs are an advantage
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solve problems on your own
- Excellent communication skills
- German language skills required for guest communication
- Willingness to work nights and flexible working hours
- Ability to remain calm and professional under stressful situations
- High integrity and sense of responsibility when handling confidential information and financial transactions
