Our romantic hotel Rosenpark is situated in a peaceful location directly on the Lahn. It is only a short walk from the historic old town and the sights of Marburg – a perfect base for daily cycling tours or loop hikes.

Reconnoitre Marburg’s historic old town by Segway, paddle along the Lahn by canoe or kayak, discover palaces and castles in the beautiful countryside surrounding Marburg and climb the hiking trails of the Lahn Valley with an alpaca: You certainly won’t be bored during your active holiday in Marburg. Many destinations are worth your time. For example, you can hike up the 100 metres of elevation difference from our VILA VITA Rosenpark hotel to the castle by foot. Rarely will you enjoy refreshments as much as you will after your climb: The well known restaurant Bückingsgarten located at the castle has a beer garden and a fabulous view of the entire city in store for you. Or treat yourself to a scoop of ice cream from AROMA Bistro & Eisbar, one of the best ice cream makers in Germany, after a long day of hiking. You can enjoy it with your feet in the sand right on Marburg’s only city beach.

Whoever, like me, likes to combine sporting activities with a portion of enjoyment is in good hands at the Hotel VILA VITA Rosenpark in the heart of Marburg and the associated VILA VITA world of enjoyment with several restaurants, one of the best ice cream factories in Germany, a farm shop as well as a delicatessen and even our own winery.
